Here at Wessex Truck and Trailer Supplies, we pride ourselves on supplying the best possible product at the most competitive prices. To meet this aim, we have invested heavily in our new Friction Workshop located at our modern facility in Waterlip.

In 2015 we recruited Bobby Pollock as our Workshop Manager. Bobby has over 10 years experience in the relining and bonding industry , initially starting his career as a mechanic, he also has experience in the servicing and refurbishment of workshop equipment.

Using this expertise, Bobby designed the layout based on safety, best practice and functionality. Sourcing the specialist equipment required, including fine dust extraction systems, Bryden and PEL reline machines, shot blasters and bonding oven which were updated and refurbished where required.

Bobby has implemented all the processes required to ensure the best possible product is achieved. Using only the best quality DON brake linings. This is demonstrated by our certification from DON. This shows we exceed the criteria laid out by this industry leader in relation to the high standard of equipment required and that Bobby himself is competent and skilled enough to warrant their approval for the Third year running.

We stock most popular linings so we can have a quick turn around, normally around an hour, most others available on a next day service. 

We aim to have our friction bonding turned around in 24 to 48 hours, although this can be subject to obtaining more specialised friction products.
